We recently photographed a Personal Branding session for FONDUE BRISTOL, which is an All Vinyl 70’s Club Night, held at Zed Alley, a Live Music Club & Bar in BS1. The club night features Glam Rock, Proto-Disco, Bubblegum Pop & Junkshop Glam, with DJ JASON COOK on the decks.
Nicola booked us for the branding session, she provided a mood board for photo ideas, booked the car, which was a 1970’s red Ford Capri, and looked at possible photo locations. With plenty of pre-planning, the session ran smoothly on the day.

A behind the scenes shot of the Branding Photography session. Steve was our voice activated light stand, and did a great job, with very little instruction needed! Carl was shooting video clips for social media content. And Nicola and Jason were great to work with.

A few more images from the session, which were taken outside Zed Alley, situated in BS1, Live Music Club and Bar. Zed Alley is one of Bristol’s underground event spaces, a stone’s throw from the city centre, tucked away from the busy bustling night life and are an 18+ venue.

The Car ….
1973 Mk1 Capri 3.0 GXL
The 1973 Ford Capri was salvaged from a scrapyard back in 1993 for £150.00. After extensive renovation, which included lots of welding, Steve, the owner and his son, spent many long hours doing a full nut and bolt restoration until she was finished in 2020.
“There was so much rust, when we removed the vinyl roof more rust was found with holes as big as your fist , so even the roof needed metal plates welded in!
Everything is either new or has been stripped , cleaned and refurbished with many parts being powered coated.
Engine rebored and rebuilt with fast road cam,cylinder heads ported with bigger inlet & exhaust valves ,new carb ,electronic ignition , ceramic coated exhaust manifolds ,stainless steel exhaust
Upgraded and lowered suspension ,Wilwood vented disc brakes with 4 pot callipers.”
